Authorities of the University of Lagos, Akoka, have postponed the school’s convocation ceremony, earlier scheduled to hold yesterday and today, till further notice.
Campus Square gathered that the postponement is not unconnected with the nationwide strike embarked upon by organised labour unions in the country.
Findings revealed that the postponement came as a big disappointment for the graduating students, who had prepared for the ceremony.
Initially, the school was not expected to go ahead with the convocation, considering that the ASUU strike is yet to be called off, and according to a student who identified herself as Yinka, that could be one of the reasons for the postponement.
