Taiwo Can Still Make It At Milan —Taribo
Former Super Eagles and AC Milan star, Taribo West, says it’s not yet over for the Nigerian international, Taye Taiwo, who is finding it very difficult to live up to expectations at San Siro in Italy.
Taribo believes Taiwo can still rediscover his impressive form that made him shine in his former club, Olympic Marseille in France.
Taribo, who also played AC Milan rivals, Inter said Taiwo only needs time to adapt to the playing pattern in the Italian League.
“Taiwo is a good player with a great potential to establish himself at AC Milan. He needs to exercise patience to adapt to the playing pattern in Italy because it is not the same with the French League,” he said.
He, however, advised Taiwo not to be in haste to leave AC Mialn for another club, adding that the Super Eagles’ defender needs to remain focused in his game to ensure that his dream of securing permanent shirt in the team is not shattered by distraction.
Taiye Taiwo joined AC Millan of Italy from his former French Club, Olympic Marseille in a free transfer deal at the beginning of the 2011/2012 football season after an impressive display at the club for six years.
