Eleyele Rewards Band Members

As a way of rewarding hard work and diligence, leader of The New Generation Band and popular inspiration singer, Queen Busola Oke a.k.a. Eleyele, recently held an annual award and thanksgiving party at her UNILAG Estate, Magodo, Lagos residence, during which some loyal members of her band were rewarded.

Femi Olabomi and Yinka Ojo each bagged the Best Band Member award (male and female).The Best Instrumentalist award went to Raphael Abidoye while Matthew Okezie clinched the Best Percussionist award.

Femi Olabomi was again named the Best Backup Singer of the Year; Abel Austin (Most Humble Band Member), Oluwaseun Quadri (Most Punctual Band Member), Yinka Ojo (Best Dancer) and Gbenga Olagbemi (Most Hard Working Band Member). Seun Quadri also got the Most Loyal Band Member award, just as Abel Austin, was rewarded with the Most Disciplined Band Member award.

Speaking with P.M.Entertainment, Eleyele said the yearly event is aimed at encouraging her band members to work harder.

According to her, gifts including cash, were given to the deserving members, who were chosen by a panel after a rigorous screening, adding that she hopes to take the band to greater heights this year.
