I Am Alive

Popular Nollywood actor and Delta State Commissioner for Youths and Tourism , Richard Mofe-Damijo, has debunked the rumor that he was in coma or dead after his involvement in an auto crash this week.
RMD, as he is fondly called, was on an official duty when the accident occurred. He survived the accident with minor injuries but his driver had more serious injuries.
RMD was said to be recuperating in the hospital as at time of filing in this report.
P.M. Entertainment gathered that some guys driving in another car rammed into RMD’s vehicle which somersaulted several times before landing on its back.
In his Blackberry message, RMD said: “Contrary to the rumour that I was in coma, unconscious and even dead, I am alive and well. God kept us (my driver and I) alive by His hands. This is to say thank you for the prayers and well wishes, especially those expressed towards my driver who is still in critical condition. Please, keep him in your prayers.
“As for those guys who rammed into us, I have no idea where they are but we pray for them too. It is well,” he said.
National president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Segun Arinze, said he is happy that the entertainment industry did not begin this year with bad news. He said he was happy that RMD survived the accident.
