In its bid to fast-track the disbursement of dividends of democracy, the chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area has sworn in an executive committee to pilot the affairs of the council.
The swearing-in ceremony which took place on Saturday, 8 January, was held at the council secretariat located along Osolo Way, Isolo.
The council chairman, Alhaji Shamsudeen Abiodun Olaleye, while swearing in the new exco members enjoined them to brace for the challenges ahead as the council has begun the transformation of the council area with laudable programmes and projects that have impacted positively on the lives of the people of the council area.
“We have set a standard and we expect that your coming in would complement our efforts to bring the dividends of democracy to our people. You must, therefore, prepare yourselves for the challenges before us,” he said.
