Oshodi LG Chairman Charges Exco

The chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Muse Ariyoh, has charged the new political appointees in the council, not to disappoint the people.

Ariyoh gave the charge during the swearing-in of the nine appointees inside the council’s legislative chamber recently.

At the ceremony witnessed by the council’s lawmakers, ACN party leaders and members, the council chairman told the appointees to be committed to excellence .

In his words: “I want to appeal to you not to take residents of Oshodi for granted, they are intelligent and they have high expectation of what you are supposed to do. You must be humble, you must listen to their complaints because you chose to serve them. It is your responsibility to make them happy, and as such, you should be patient to listen to them and address their problems”.

While congratulating the appointees, The council boss reminded them not to see their appointment as an avenue to enrich themselves but an opportunity to contribute their own quota to the development of the local government.

The appointees who were sworn in at the occasion include Mr. Adeola Dawood Olajobi, Secretary to the council; Mrs. Badmos, S.K Adeyemi, Waheed Adeyinka, Tunde Badejoko, Yusuf Tunde Adesanya, Felix Adewale Ajayi, Bunmi Loye and Nike Adekola, as supervisors and special advisers.
