Nollywood Actor, Mr. Ibu Loses Son

Nollywood actor, John Okafor, famously known as Mr. Ibu, is bereaved.

He lost his two-year old son Emmanuel Mandela Okafor to the cold hands of death on Monday night.

Mr. Ibu confirmed the incident to P.M NEWS on phone this morning, but apparently in a devastated mood, he declined to give further details.

Meanwhile, on his Facebook page, the popular comic actor posted this sad message: “R.I.P. Mandy, my son…Mummy and Daddy love you a lot but God loves you more.”

When the late Mandela was about one month old in January 2010, he was kidnapped with his mother by unknown gunmen.

They were in the kidnappers’ den for about four weeks and few days before they regained their freedom.
