Chief Coach of Messiah FC, Ushurhe Anthony says his team are not afraid of Trainozini FC when both teams clash tomorrow in the second stanza of Ikeja Divisional Football competition.
The encounter will hold at the Alade Sports Ground, Ipaja, Lagos. The winner in the encounter will qualify for the quarter final, according to organisers of the competition.
Shortly after the draw ceremony held at the Agege stadium on Monday, Anthony said his team are ready to face any team that come their way, assuring fans that tomorrow’s match will be approached with all seriousness.
Anthony said Trainozini FC are a good side boasting that if his players follow instructions, Messiah FC will go places in the league.
He noted that the competition has got to a stage where errors will not be tolerated, thus charging his players to approach the match like a cup final.
“We have a long way to go if we want to win the. We are in a crucial stage now where all hands must be on deck. The players know what is at stake at this stage of the league,” he said.
Rason FC will confront Faith FC while Jobi Star will battle Croqual FC at the Alade Sport Centre this afternoon.
