Biyi Samuel Drops New LP

Popular movie sound-track act, Biyi Samuel also known as Igi A Ruwe, has released another album christened Kabioosi into the Nigerian gospel music market.

According to Biyi, who started singing at the tender age of three in the church as a chorister and now a B.Sc. holder in International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, he opted for music and concentrated on composition of songs when he met the late actor, Yomi Ogunmola, who introduced him to sound track recording.

He said he started with Femi Fadeyi’s work, Igi A Ruwe. “The sound track brought me into limelight and since then I have become a household name in the entertainment industry.”

Biyi Samuel added: “l was motivated by the wide acceptance of the sound track of Igi A Ruwe which I composed and l thank God for the exposure it gave me, though I neither belong to any musical band nor sang with anyone before.”

Tracks in Kabioosi (The unquestionable God) released on the stable of Omoola Christian Music, Mokola, Ibadan, include Seun rere, Ire de, Igi ti ruwe, Kabioosi and Igbagbo, among others.
