Lagos Principal’s Cup: State Draws Hold Thursday

The state draws for the Lagos Principal’s Cup finals will hold this Thursday at the conference hall of the Ministry of Education, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.

The Director, Co-curricular Services, Lagos State Ministry of Education, Mrs. Babs Akinyeye, said all arrangements to hold a successful draws have been put in place.

“We are ready for the final draws and I hope that all the schools that qualified from the various districts have started serious preparations ahead of state finals, which will be played next month, “she said.

She urged the players to shun any violence acts that can tarnish the image of the Lagos Principal’s Cup and their schools.

Results of the finals played in Districts 2 showed that CMS Girls defeated Alapere Comprehensive Senior High School 1-0 in the female category, while Ajayi Crowther School lost 5-6 via penalty shootouts after a barren draw in the male category.

P.M.Sports gathered that winners will emerge in the remaining five districts before the state draws hold on Thursday. Two finalists will represent a district in the state finals.
