New Police Boss Loses Wife

The new Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Dikko Abubakar yesterday lost his wife Hajiya Mariam Abubakar.

P.M.NEWS learnt this morning that Mariam, who was based in the US, died in Kano, Kano State, Northwest Nigeria yesterday evening.

She was said to have died as a result of an undisclosed ailment.

As at press time, arrangements were in top gear to bury Mariam at the Taurani cemetery in Kano today.

It was learnt that Abubakar has arrived Kano for the burial.
