Come 11 February, one of Nigeria’s most gifted comedians, Julius Agwu, will unleash a galaxy of music and comedy stars on residents of the Federal Capital Territory and its environs in a gig tagged: Festival of Love, an evening of romantic love songs, couples’ games and great comedy for lovers.
Speaking about the on-coming show, Julius emphasised the need for Nigerians to abide in peace and unity, saying love is exactly what Nigerians need at the moment to put a final stop to the latest terrorist attacks threatening the existence of Nigeria.
“We came up with Festival of Love last year as an avenue to preach love as the only element that can save our nation at this point. We also want couples to come out and re-ingnite their love life. Love is actually going to be celebrated in a festive manner. That is why we called it Festival of Love,” Julius said.
This year’s event will feature great acts like 2face Idibia, elDee Da Don, Timi Dakolo, J’odie, W4, among others. And listed among the comic acts are Osama, Akpororo, Lepacious Bose, Triple White and few others.
This year’s event is put together by JAFFY (Julius Agwu Foundation for Youth).
