Kenyan Girls Arrive For World Cup Qualifier

Kenya’s U-17 female team have finally arrived Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria for tomorrow’s U-17 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria’s Flamingos.

They were earlier scheduled to hit Nigeria yesterday but their inability to secure entry visa from the Nigerian High Commission in Kenya made them reschedule their trip.

The East Africans will go into the tie, which holds at the MKO Abiola Stadium, with a 0-2 deficit having lost the first leg played a fortnight ago to Nigeria at the Nyayo Stadium, Kenya.

The Kenyans had earlier wrote a protest letter to CAF that Nigeria fielded over-aged players but later withdrew it.
