Oshodi, Oladunjoye Charge Athletes Of Adopt-A-Talent Sports Programme

Waheed Enitan Oshodi, Lagos State Sports Commissioner and Prince ‘Wale Oladunjoye, the Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to Governor Raji Fashola, have tasked the successful athletes in the Adopt-A-Talent Sport Programme to give in their best for the programme to achieve its aim .

Oshodi, who was impressed with the Adopt-A –Talent Sports programme urged the athletes to see the initiative as an avenue they can harness their talents for the greater good of not only themselves but the society as a whole.

He charged the athletes to take the programme seriously, especially when Lagos is preparing to host the National Sports Festival this year.

“We want to use Adopt-A-Talent Sport Programme to discover more talents for the state to have a reservoir of young athletes as we are preparing for the sports festival. So, I want you to be committed and dedicate yourself to the programme,” he said.

Oladunjoye, who is the initiator of the programme, said: “This is the chance for our athletes to give their best. I was impressed with the commitment showed by the athletes while in camp. I want them to show more commitment now that Governor Fashola has launched the project.”

Governor Raji Fashola officially launched the programme early today at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium inside the Secretariat Alausa, Ikeja.
