Azubike: Eagles’ll Continue To Improve

Super Eagles skipper for Friday’s tune-up game against VON FC of Abuja, Azubike Egwueke says the team will continue to improve in all departments and impress the coaching crew to stick with them for crucial games.

Speaking after the encounter, Egwueke, who was a visible figure in the central defense, said the team cannot claim to have arrived but there have been great improvement that those who hope to pick up shirts from the players will have to fight for them.

“We may not be 100 per cent yet but we are in good stead and the coaches have been helping us to build confidence, our communication on the pitch has also improved, so I think we have a very bright future with this team.”
