Lagos Association Repositioned


Lagos State Basketball Association, LSBBA, held its inaugural meeting recently at the board room of the Lagos State Sports Council, Rowe Park Yaba, Lagos with most members in attendance.

The meeting chaired by the association chairman, Babatunde Ogunade, deliberated on ways to reposition the association and leave a legacy behind for the benefit of the teeming youths in Lagos State.

The first vice chairman, Niyi Adekoya, has been charged to map out plans on ways to market and secure sponsorship for the association’s various programmes.

Gbade Olatona and the state coach Yinka Oyewunmi are to lead the technical committee as well as the media and publicity committee of the association, while Oladamoye Oyesiku and other secretariat staff members are in charge of facility committee.

.The LSBBA Honourary Secretary Segun Ikuesan, second vice chairman, Tunde Coker, Abimbola Faniran, Bereofori George and Mobolaji Akiode are to fashion out ways the association can impact positively in schools across the state.
