Oshodi Isolo Football Club futher compounded the woes of their Surulere counterparts during their Week 8 rescheduled Lagos Junior League match at the Legacy Pitch in Surulere last weekend.
Surulere conceded two goals in the first half without much daring moves to their opponents vital area. The Sport City boys only managed to pull one back in the second half but an array of misses and lacklustre performances sealed their fate.
Oshodi have now leapfrogged Oriade and Lagos Island East to sit fifth on the Premiership log.
In the other match of the day, League 1 side Apapa Iganmu spanked rejuvenated Itire Ikate by four goals to one. The Itire Ikate Tripple I FC side really put up a good fight but for their ‘basket’ goalkeeper who was the culprit for three of the four goals he conceded.
This result sees Apapa Iganmu go level on points with Mushin Academical Bombers, their next opponents in their Week 10 encounter.
