Galadima Charges NFF Boss, Maigari

Ibrahim Galadima

Former Chairman of Nigeria Football Association, NFA, Ibrahim Galadima, has urged the current board of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to tell the sports loving Nigerians its problems in order to help the board excel.

Galadima was reacting to the unexpected victory of the Chipolopolo of Zambia against stars studded Elephants of Ivory Coast to lift the trophy for the first time, stressing that the feat of Zambia came as a collective responsibility among all the various football stakeholders in the country.

The former NFA chairman said that Nigeria can also achieve the same feat if the leadership of the NFF under Aminu Maigari can come out and tell Nigerians all the problems confronting the football house.

“We all agreed that this is not the best of time for Nigeria. We need to put our heads together to see how we can salvage the situation by addressing the various issues affecting the association. Unless we hear from them, we may not really know their problems because they are the ones steering the ship of Nigerian football,” Galadima said.

The Kano born football administrator affirmed that the only way Nigeria can have the Zambian experience is for all football stakeholders to have sincerity of purpose in the administration of the game and be committed to the country, irrespective of individual differences because Nigeria has the capacity to achieve great results in football.
