Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, of Ibadan, Oyo State won their second home game this season with a 1-0 win over Ocean Boys to ease the pressure on coach Festus Allen in the Nigeria Premier League, NPL.

Ighodaro Osaguona was the match hero once again, courtesy of a 52nd minute winner at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan.

Osaguona’s goal has thus eased pressure on the entire team.

“It was a good goal because it gave us victory. I am happy that we played as a team, we will continue to improve as a team as the league progresses,” the match winner told MTNFootball.com

“We’ve been trying our best but it’s just that luck was not on our side and I give God the glory for making it possible for us to get the three points at home, and I promise that our next game will be different.”

Osaguona has scored three goals for 3SC this season.
