An Abuja Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday ordered that an accused, John Apever, be given 10 strokes of cane for stealing two extension cables valued at N4,000.
The Police prosecutor, Buba Irinmiya, told the court that on February18, Yahya Lukman, of Halogan Security Company attached to Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Abuja, reported the matter at Utako Police Station.
