Inside Eagles’ Camp

Home Eagles Look Like Pros

One striking thing among the Home Eagles is that most of the players are now looking like their foreign-based counterparts. They look very fresh and radiating great confidence. The players are well kitted, looking well fed and from all indications, it will be very difficult for the foreign-based players to displace them in the battle for shirts for the coming Rwanda tie.

Their Mentality Has Changed — Attah

Emma Attah, Coordinator of the Super Eagles says the technical crew of the team has changed the mentality of the local players to see themselves as national team players and not as Enyimba, Heartland or Kano Pillars stars.

“We have changed their mentality not to see themselves as local players wearing Enyimba, Kano Pillars or Heartland colours, but as national team players. This is beginning to show in their style of play. These players have a great future,” Attah said.

Tu Face Thrills Sunday Mba

The striker that nailed Liberia with two goals last week, Sunday Mba, is a big fan of Tu Face, the Nigerian music idol. Mba said the Benue State-born musician is the best among the rest.

“I relax by listening to music, especially Tu Face’s music. He is the best musician to me. I just love his music,” Mba said at the Eagles camp in Abuja early today.
