Lagos Junior League: Amuwo Odofin Battle Ojo Babes

Mid week matches will be played in various centres of the Lagos Junior League today with Amuwo Odofin Football Club taking on Ojo Y.M.D Babes at the LASU playground.

Amuwo Odofin FC are placed sixth with 19 points, four points behind current league leaders, Y.M.D Babes of Ojo. Amuwo have won their last two matches with higher goal margin and a win today will put them in good standing for the league’s trophy.

Ojo Babes have been having a good run and are arguably the most consistent team in League 1.

Ojo Babes have an efficient goal poacher in Ifeanyi Oghara, who has scored 9 goals this season and a host of efficient midfielders who are capable of delivering killer passes.

Amuwo FC will need to contain the attacking force of Ojo and create enough chances to win the game and stay in contention for the League title.
