Barely two years after the demise of Fuji music icon, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, his sing-alike, Ahmed Akanbi Lolade, in collaboration with Barrister Memorial Band members led by Barrister’s band captain, Alhaji Yekini Aderoju, is set to drop a memorial album titled Barry Lives On.
Lolade disclosed that he was very close to Barrister though, he knew him shortly before his death and had a cordial relationship with him, stressing that the late Alhaji Agba always transferred his engagements to him whenever he was busy.
He revealed further that the project, his fourth effort, is part of his contributions to immortalise the late Fuji creator. It will be released next week on the stable of Alagbada Records.
The prolific Fuji musician, who started a career in music ten years ago, hails from Erin Ile, Kwara State and has four albums to his credit.
