A Lagos High Court has adjourned ruling on the Agege Obaship tussle between Chief Yekini Otapo and Kamila Isiba indefinitely.

Justice Aishat Opesanwo had slated ruling for today in a motion for stay of proceeding pending an appeal in the matter but later adjourned till an undisclosed date.

Chief Yekini Otapo had earlier approached the court for a restraining order on the Lagos State government from installing Chief Kamila Isiba as the Oba of Agege. The court turned down his request, prompting Chief Otapo to proceed to the Court of Appeal.

Otapo later filed for a stay of proceeding of the matter at a Lagos High Court, pending the determination of his appeal at the Court of Appeal.
