Students of Rivers State School of Nursing, Port Harcourt, the state capital, southsouth Nigeria, caused panic in the state capital today as they blocked the Ikwerre road, one the major roads in the city protesting the total neglect of the facilities in the school, especially lack of power supply and water.

Some of the students who called P.M.NEWS on phone narrated how they suffered the indignity of living in an environment where toilets are not flushed and no water to have their bath and wash their clothes.

Motorists and commuters plying Ikwerre road were trapped in traffic jam due to the blockade of the road by protesting students.
