Sunshine Stars forward, Dayo Ojo, is in Turkey for trials with first division side, Galatasaray Spor Kulübü.
SuperSport.com learnt that Ojo will spend one week with the Istanbul-based side, fondly called Gala in Europe.
“I arrived on Tuesday and hope to convince the crew here,” he said.
Ojo started his football career at Rising Stars before moving to neighbours, Sunshine Stars.
When asked about his team’s Wednesday’s derby in the Nigeria Premier League, Ojo replied: “It’s a match I would have loved to play since both teams met for the first time in the history of the NPL.”
The Sunshine Stars forward is blessed with skills, pace and power.
Lobi Stars’ boss, Dominic Iorfa, is the first Nigerian to play for Gala after moving from QPR.
Gala won the defunct UEFA Cup (now Europa League) in 1999-2000 and the UEFA Super Cup in 2000.
