Basking in the euphoria of his two goals against Rising Stars in their midweek game, Sunshine Stars’ Dele Olorundare says his target is to score goals against Rangers of Enugu in the NPL match this weekend.
The match, which will be played at Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, promises to be explosive, as Sunshine will be out to shock the Flying Antelopes, who are currently the league leaders.
Sunshine Stars came out victorious in the first-ever Ondo derby in the NPL, when they thrashed local rivals Rising Stars 3-0 in Ijebu Ode on Wednesday
Olorundare scored a brace within the first 18 minutes to end the first half 2-0.
And as the hosts Rising Stars were searching for goals, Atanda Sakibu ended their hopes with the third goal midway into the second half.
Olorundare, who formerly played for Jazzy Stars FC, said he was thrilled with his goals against Rising Stars and the victory.
“I am happy with the victory and my goals in particular because I knew we would win. Scoring two goals is good for me and I am poised to score more goals, especially as we are playing Enugu Rangers this weekend and many more as the league goes on,” he told MTNFootball.com.
