Chief coach of Flamingoes, Peter Dedevbor has charged his team not to underrate Zambian girls when both teams clash in the return leg of FIFA U-17 World cup qualifier slated for the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The Flamingoes are on the verge of reaching the final tournament of the FIFA U-17 World Cup slated for Azerbaijan, following their 2-1 victory over Zambia in the first leg match played last week in Lusaka.

A victory or draw For Nigeria in the return leg slated for next week will earn them a place in the FiFA U-17 female World Cup. Dedevbor said the Zambian girls are a good side and will want to do everything to upturn the result in the return leg.

The former coach of Delta Queens urged the Flamingoes to approach the game like a cup final, saying that Nigerians will be disappointed if they fail to defeat the visiting team in the return leg.

“We have not qualified For the World Cup until we defeat Zambia in return leg. Our girls need to remain focused and attack Zambia throughout the game,” he said.
