Governor Appoints Chief Economic Adviser

Bayelsa State Governor, Henry Seriake Dickson, has approved the appointments of Mr. Tammy Alazigha as Chief Economic Adviser and Mr. Seipulu Timipre as Senior Special Assistant, Treasury & Accounts.

According to a statement, it is imperative to state that the appointment of a Chief Economic Adviser and Senior Special Assistant (Treasury & Accounts) is in accordance with Governor Dickson’s drive to strengthen, re-engineer and infuse life into the state’s economy.

In the statement signed by Mr.Daniel Iworiso Markson, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Public Affairs, he explained that the appointments is also a key move by government to further enthrone transparency, accountability and sound fiscal discipline in the management of government’s finances.

All the appointments take immediate effect.
