Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm is in a bullish frame of mind after his side’s recent goal spree, declaring the Bavarians capable of dismantling almost any side in Europe.

After a rather underwhelming run,which saw the Bavarians fall seven points behind Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga title race and lose the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash with Basel in Switzerland, Jupp Heynckes’ men have suddenly found their shooting boots.

Indeed, Bayern have now scored 20 goals in the last three outings, hammering Hoffenheim 7-1 and beating Hertha Berlin 6-0 to close the gap to Dortmund to five points, as well as booking its place in the quarterfinals of Europe’s premier club competition.
