Boko Haram Strikes Again In Kanu

Another attack by assailants suspected to be members of Boko Haram took place this morning at the Tudun Wada quarters of Kano, northwest Nigeria.

Eyewitness account said there were several blasts of gunfire and bombs. The number of casualties is yet to be ascertained.

The latest attack followed yesterday evening’s incident at Sharada quarters, Freedom Radio Junction where gunmen on a motor bike shot into a crowd killing at least three persons.

All these killings have continued to destabilise the commercial city of the North.

However, security operatives are still on the alert.
