D’Banj Releases Oliver Twist Video

With the shocking news via Twitter last Saturday 17 March of the demise of Mo’Hits Records by Don Jazzy, the label CEO and producer, has put an end to a gale of speculations on the state of their once envied combination.

But the beat went on at the weekend when D’Banj released the official video of Oliver Twist, a huge hit song produced by the super producer himself, though the bad news is there is no Don Jazzy in the video, a clear departure from all D’Banj’s past videos.

With a clear message that it really was time to move on, the Oliver Twist video, instead of the usual Mo’Hits family, has American hiphop mogul Kanye West, D’Banj’s new label boss, in place of Don Jazzy in it.

There are also cameo appearances from other G.O.O.D Music acts like Will.I.Am, Big Sean, Mannie Fresh, Pusha T and others.

The video shot in London, United Kingdom, was directed by Sesan Ogunro, the UK-based Nigerian video director who has become the official Mo’Hits media expert.

The dramatic rift between the super producer and the Kokomaster remains the most trending topic on both the social and traditional media in the last few weeks.
