Last weekend some policemen from the Delta State Police Command Headquarters, Asaba were said to have invaded the family house of the publishers of Zion Nationale Newspapers in Okpanam, a neighbouring town to Asaba, to arrest Jude and Chris Obiemenyego whom they alleged to be publishers of Zion Nationale Newspapers.

The three policemen claimed to be from the legal department of the police command. On arrival they demanded for the identities of Chris and Jude Obiemenyego.

Seeing that they were not making a head-way in their mission they immediately arrested Henry Obiemenyego (publisher’s brother) whom they alleged to be the Publisher of Zion.

P.M.NEWS was reliably informed that the policemen who arrested Henry Obiemenyego came in a Mercedes 190E saloon car and bundled him to an unknown destination.

For a week, the policemen have been coming to the Obiemenyego family house, telling the people they met that they were friends of Chris and Jude.

However, when contacted, the O/C Legal said he was not aware but will find out, while the PPRO was not picking his phone as at the time of filing this report.

On 20 February, 2012, Jude Obiemenyego was arrested by men of the Delta State Police Command while investigating an alleged N28 million scam in an agency of the state government.
