The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC), will today hold a mass rally to support a second term for Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
A statement made available to News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday by NLC and signed by its acting State Secretary, Mr.. Moni Mike-Itua, said the rally would hold today with a carnival procession.
The decision was taken to support the re-election bid of Oshiomhole in the July 14 governorship election.
According to the statement, starting point for the carnival procession will be Uselu Shell through New Lagos Road to Akpakpava Road and will terminate at the main bowl of Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
“The occasion shall also be used to re-affirm the support of the working people, students, artisans, self-employed, market women for the re-election bid of the Comrade Governor,” the statement added.
