Major partner of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and official sponsor of the national teams, Globacom, has urged the Women U-17 national team, Flamingoes to go for total victory in the second leg of 2012 FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifier scheduled for Abeokuta on Saturday.
Globacom commended Flamingoes for their outstanding performance against the Shepolopolo of Zambia during the first leg played in Lusaka.
The company, which gave kudos to the team for recording an important away win in Lusaka, thus ensuring a brighter chance of qualifying for the next U-17 World Cup; also urged them not to rest on their oars until the last battle is won in the qualifying round.
“The Flamingoes must work hard to subdue the hard fighting Zambians in order to win the two legs and qualify for the next round”, a statement added.
Globacom assured the Flamingoes that as the official sponsor of the national teams it will continue to sponsor and encourage the national teams in their quest to win laurels for Nigeria in world football.
The 2012 U-17 Women World Cup comes up in Azerbaijan between 22 September and 13 0ctober.
