Patriotic Forum, a vibrant socio-political pressure group which started as an online social media group on Facebook, has transformed into Centre for Patriotic Leadership Initiative, CPLI.

The transformation, according to the president of the group, Mr. Femi Adeoya, is in line with the group’s objectives which he says cannot be fully achieved unless efforts are made to set up physical structures instead of an online talk-shop.

“With this change, the centre to be situated in Lagos, is now a full-fledged outfit which will focus on training and acquisition of leadership skills for individuals both in the private, public and non-governmental organisations.

“The transformation became necessary to enable the organisation pursue and effectively implement its aims and objectives which are principally geared towards the enthronement and institutionalisation of quality and responsible leadership in all spheres of human endeavours in Nigeria,” he said.
