The Minister of Sports and Chairman of National Sports Commission, NSC, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, says he is willing to prostrate to Segun Odegbami, MON, and other aggrieved stakeholders in order to end the crisis in Nigerian football.

“Before I became the Minister of Sports I never met Aminu Maigari. Today, he is the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and I know that a lot of people are very aggrieved over how the election that brought him to the office was conducted. But the peace that we achieved recently does not mean that all the problems are solved or the aggrieved people are ready for peace,” Abdullahi said,

“I want to beg Segun Odegbami and other aggrieved people to sheath their swords in the interest of the game. I have read several times in his column that he will not give up. If it is possible I’m ready to go personally to his house and beg him to allow peace to reign. I’m ready to beg Davidson Owumi, Harrison Jalla and Jareth Tanebe and the rest of them for this crisis to end,” he said.
