Orile Agege Chairman’s Cup: Olokun Ola FC Write Off Alade

Team Manger of Olokun Ola FC, Abiola Rotimi, is confident that his team will clinch the three points at stake when they confront Alade FC in the ongoing Orile Agege Chairman’s Cup tomorrow.

The competition is taking place at Pako Amoo, Playground, Orile Agege, Lagos.

Olokun Ola massacred Fortune Academy 6-1 in their opening match played on Monday and a victory over Alade in tomorrow’s match will earn them a place in the quarter final of the tournament.

Rotimi told P.M.Sport that Alade FC should expect a tough match from his team.

Having recorded a wide margin in their opening match, Rotimi said his team have gained more confidence to dismantle any team that come their way. He urged his players to remain focused and resolute in their remaining matches.

“Alade FC cannot stop us from achieving the goal we have set for ourselves in this tournament. We disgraced Fortune Academy in our opening match and we ready to teach Alade FC a good football lesson tomorrow,” Rotimi boasted.

In other results made available to P.M.Sport, Lapero FC walloped Jummy Babes 3-0; Bekon FC lost 0-3 to Folem FC, Classical FC beat De-Mania FC 1-0, Mageeco defeated Omooba FC 2-1, while Solid Rock humbled Sporty FC 1-0

Action continues today when Lapero FC confront Bekon FC, Folem FC face Jummy Babes, De-Mania FC tackle The Boys, while solid Rock FC II battle Classical FC in the last match.

Chairman of Orile Agege LCDA, Taofeek Abiodun Adaranijo, the sponsor of the tournament, urged the participating teams to play their matches according to the rules governing the game.

According to Adaranijo, the tournament is organised to keep the youth busy and to encourage them to embrace peace in Orile Agege and its environs.

He said the winners of the tourney will go home with the sum of N75, 000 and a trophy, while the second and third place teams will be given N50,000 and N25, 000 respectively.
