Hall Of Fame Show: Another Opportunity For School Children

Two students of Nigeria Model High School, Mushin, Joseph Badejo and Safeors Frances, will have the opportunity to display their boxing skills tomorrow in an exhibition bout at the 29th edition of the Saturday Monthly Boxing Show billed to hold at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre, Rowe Park, Lagos.

The show, which will have 20 boxers trading punches, is packaged by the Lagos Boxing Hall Of Fame, LBHF, in conjuction with the Lagos Amateur Boxing Association, LABA.

In other bouts of the event, Rilwan Oladosu of Ajetunmobi Boxing Club will take on Adeosun Lukuman of BBC Boxing Club in the 60kg category, while Ibraheem Owoiya of Kamlat Boxing Club will do battle with Abas Lawal of BBC Boxing Club in the 75kg category.

The duo of Taiwo Oyegunwa of Faleke Boxing Club and Saheed Lawal of WTT Boxing Club will have a showdown in the 69kg category, while Olaide Fijabi of Star Boxing Club will get into the squared rope with Sunday Oladele of Champion Boxing Club in the 64kg category.

Oliwo Kazeem of Star Boxing Club will also put his strength to test against Ibraheem Ali of Paramount Boxing Club in the 56kg category and Otito Joseph of Paramount Boxing Club will take on Korede Eniola of Progressive Boxing Club in the 60kg category.

Wasiu Balogun of Young Star Boxing Club will have a showdown with Elijah Eniola of Progressive Boxing Club in the 81kg category, while Gabriel Frances of Champion Boxing Club will trade punches with Muri Balogun of Ashimota Boxing Club in the last bout of the event.

The only female bout of the event will involve Nike Salami of DD Boxing Club and Ayisat Oriyomi of Blessed Boxing Club in the 54kg category.
