Governor of Lagos State chapter of Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN), Prince Oluwajoba Ojatunwase (Apple Spinners), last week led other executive members of the union including his deputy, Princess Folake, Mighty Ade and K Melody, among others, on a visit to the Ikeja, Lagos residence of juju music legend, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, to felicitate with him on his 70th birthday anniversary.

Speaking with P.M. Entertainment, Ojatunwase noted that the visit was necessary considering Obey’s immense contribution to the development of the music industry in the country.

According to him, “most of us grew up to know Papa Ebenezer Obey as a versatile composer and very great musician. In fact, he was a source of inspiration to most of us here today and as such, he is worthy of celebration. We wish him many more active years on earth.”
