Man Impregnates Neighbour’s Wife, Stabs Him During Fight

A 24- year old man Victor Idongesit, has been arraigned before Apapa Magistrate’s court, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, after he made a shocking revelation to his neighbour, Stanley Anebor, 48,  about his wife’s pregnancy and allegedly stabbed the man during a fight.

Victor, who hails from Akwa Ibom state, southsouth Nigeria, reportedly told Anebor, who hails from Edo state  that he was actually  responsible for his wife’s pregnancy because he had sex with her several times  before she became pregnant.

The incident happened at 31, Olowonsun street, Olodi Apapa, Lagos where both of them reside.

The revelation threw the husband off balance because Victor said it publicly and in the presence of Anebor’s wife.

This  resulted in  both fighting publicly and in the process Anebor was  stabbed by Victor.

It was not certain why Victor broke the news in the presence of the man’s wife. P.M.NEWS gathered that Anebor goes to work early and returns in the evening, while Victor and his wife were  always around in the house.

Victor  was charged with conduct likely to breach public peace  and assault under sections 166 and 171 of the criminal code laws of Lagos state of Nigeria 2011.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the couple have been in a running battle over suspicion by her husband before Victor made the revelation.

According to Anebor,  Victor confronted him  and told him that his wife  was  pregnant for him(Victor). He added that Victor told him that he should not brag with his wife because he too has access to her as well.

The shocked Anebor went to Victor’s mother who was living in the house  to complain about her son’s claim.

This resulted in both fighting and Victor broke a bottle and stabbed him. He was arrested by the police at Tolu Station and charged to court.

He pleaded not guilty. The presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. I. Adelaja granted him bail in the sum of N100, 000 with one suirety in like sum.

The matter was adjourned till 23 April 2012, while Victor was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri, Apapa pending when he will fulfil his bail condition.
