Nigerian League: Rangers Beat 3SC

Rangers International of Enugu on Sunday continued their impressive run in this year’s premier league, beating 3SC of Ibadan 3-2 in a Week 18 encounter.

Two first-half goals put the Enugu outfit in the mood for victory, but Talabi Oluwamakinde of 3SC utilised two defensive errors to put more pressure on the home side.

Talabi scored his first in the 83rd minute to narrow the scores at 2-1 but Chinedu Sunday rallied for the home team in the 87th to give their fans more reason to cheer.

Hardly had the ovation died down than Oluwamakinde netted his second in the 88th minute.

Enyimba International of Aba settled for a 1-1 draw with Akwa United of Uyo at the Aba Township Stadium.
