2014 W/Cup Qualifier: Libya Host Cameroon On Neutral Ground

Libya will have to play their home qualifier against Cameroon for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil on neutral ground.

This was decided by the competition’s Local Organising Committee during their meeting on 28 March 2012 in Zurich.

The decision was motivated by the current volatile situation in Libya, which does not yet provide for the necessary optimum conditions requested for the tournament.
