Police Arrest 4 Over Robbery Attack
The Ogun State police command Tuesday arrested four suspected robbers who had confessed to be part of those that atacked the luxury bus that was conveying some students from the eastern part of the country to Lagos during the weekend.
In a press release this afternoon by the command which was signed by the spokesman of the command, ASP Muyiwa Adejobi and made available to our correspondent in Abeokuta, the police said the robbery suspects were arrested at Ijebu Ife and Ijebu Imushin towns in Ijebu East Local Government area of Ogun State, southwest Nigeria.
He stated that the driver of the bus has also been invited and he has identified one of those arrested to be among the robbers that attacked them during the weekend.
The names of those arrested are Oni Olopari, Innocent Omule, Gbenga Adebayo and Samuel Luca.
The luxury driver identified Samuel Luca as one of those that robbed them.
Various items including the seats in the broken down vehicle were recovered from them at their hideout.
