Angola Want Re-match With Super Eagles

Though information is still sketchy, there are indications that the national football team of Angola is seeking a re-match with the Super Eagles of Nigeria after they were held to a 0-0 draw against a second-string Nigeria side in a 2012 CAF Africa Cup of Nations warm-up on 11 January 2012.

P.M.Sports gathered that the Angola FA is prepared to square up with the Super Eagles again after the earlier clash ended in a barren draw but hinted that they are yet to inform the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, of their plans.

It would be recalled that during the first tie, Angola paraded top stars like Manucho and Flavio Amado and attacked from the blast of the first whistle, before the Super Eagles, made up of players from the Nigeria Premier League, NPL, took control.

Enugu Rangers lively forward Ejike Uzoenyi shone on the left flank as Nigeria threw away the several chances they created.

Ossai Uche missed a clear chance after just 12 minutes, while Sunday Mba fluffed another opening in the 34th minute, before Obinna Nwachukwu blasted off target three minutes to the interval

In the second half, Nigeria strikers Uche Kalu and Barnabas Imenger missed more chances.
