Enyimba’s Nnam Resumes Training
After seven weeks on the sidelines as a result of a hamstring injury Enyimba midfielder, John Nnam, resumed training with his teammates on Monday.
The former Rangers star suffered the injury in their home game against Gombe United, which they won 3-1.
He suffered the injury in February and has so far missed most of the campaign, having only featured against Sharks and Gombe United.
Shortly after his workout with rest of the Enyimba squad, he said he still feels some slight pains and cannot shoot at goal.
“It’s good to return to training. I’m feeling some slight pains on the thigh and cannot really shoot. But we will see how it goes in the coming days,” Nnam informed MTNFootball.com.
Enyimba will attempt to reclaim top spot in the Nigeria Premier League when they visit struggling Shooting Stars this weekend. They have 31 points, a point behind leaders Enugu Rangers.
