Messiah Football Club Chief Coach, Urshure Anthony, has expressed disappointment over his team’s performance against Oku Talent FC in the semi-final match of the Adeyinka Yusuf Cup held at the Teachers Training College, Ifako Ijaye LCDA, last Saturday.

Despite the 2-1 victory, which Messiah FC recorded, Anthony admitted that his team did not play their best football.

“It was a good match for us because we won the encounter, but, on the general performance of my team, I think they played below expectations. I ‘m not happy and I need to work on them if we must win the tournament,” he noted.

Anthony said he is worried about his team’s performance against Oku Talent FC, and promised to introduce some new players that will fortify the team in the final.

“I’m going to make some tactical changes against Labro FC in the final. I have seen where the problem lies and it is left for me to bring in fresh players to fortify the team,” said Anthony.
