MTN Apologizes Over Stolen Airtime
After the roar from customers on the mysterious stealing of their airtime, MTN has apologizes on its facebook page and through text messages.
Several customers of the telecoms giant woke up last Friday morning to discover that their airtime has been mysteriously deducted.
In an apology posted on it’s facebook page, MTN after several hours apologized to it’s customers thus: “Good morning. We are aware that some of our customers have experienced issues of missing credit on their lines. We are working hard to resolve this immediately and refund affected customers. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you, thank you”. Hours after the apology, the stolen airtime were returned. No reason was given by MTN for the incident.
