‘Lagos Carnival Will Continue’

A lawmaker representing Eti-Osa Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Gbolahan Yishawu, has described the recent carnival organised by the state as part of the tourist attraction of the state and it should continue.

Yishawu stated this while commending the organisers of the carnival as well as all those who made it a success, helping the state to meet its tourism goals.

“Lagos is getting it right and better at every given opportunity,” he said, adding that from the way it was organised, the carnival has come to stay.

He said with the carnival, a day is set aside yearly for Lagosians to come together and enjoy themselves irrespective of age, social status and educational backgrounds.

“I thank the organisers for a job well-done,” he stated.
