Coach of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, John Obuh, has revealed measures he plans to adopt in curbing over-age players from playing for the U-20 side.
The former Golden Eagles coach disclosed that the technical crew has concluded plans to partner with the Nigeria Premier League, NPL, to curb the menace.
“The entire coaching crew has agreed to take some measures before we invite any player to the camp; it is not going to be business as usual because we have decided not to allow age cheats in the team.
“We will go to the NPL to confirm the correct age of the players that will be invited to the camp. I want to assure Nigerians that it is only players that have not exceeded the age limit that will be invited to represent the country,” said Obuh.
